Nice video. You heard right that screw is not needed and no need to torque it. simple holds rotor on during assembly and makes easier to put on brakes without it wobbling. But once caliber is on and then wheel, it's useless.

Great video! my 2021 odyssey was having vibrations when braking highway speeds, i replaced pads and rotors at 68,500 miles. The pads were almost new, but the rotors were warped i guess.

The Nepros ratchets are a work of art.

Disconnect immediately when you hear the noise of the motor change. The author did this in the video, but the point warrants emphasis. The change of the noise indicates that the motor has reached runout. At runout, where the motor encounters mechanical resistance, a current spike naturally occurs. In normal operation, the controller senses this current spike almost instantaneously, and responds by cutting power to the motor. In other words, the controller knows to turn off power to the motor when it sees that current spike. Since you're a human, you can't react instantaneously. If you leave a light-gauge wire connected, with all that current, you will heat the wire quickly, and burn the insulation. When you think you are nearing runout, switch to quickly tapping to make the connection. When you hear the noise from the motor change, the piston is fully retracted. Stop tapping.

My RS does that, same code, changed everything besides the radiator.

Absolutely ridiculous pricing, especially in this economy of hyperinflation while income hasn't gone up....there is zero justification for anyone to spend this much on a ratchet that doesn't do anything a $50 ratchet doesn't do. Or even a $30 ratchet.

Can you use brake lubricant for the caliper slide pins?

Hey dan have a question i have this exact same year and modle accord same color but thats besides the point im havin an issue with the vtec and have a p2647 code and wont rev past 3k rpm and im pretty sure its the vtec solenoid on the bavk of the engine it has 3 10 mils on the back but i wanna know any other possible causes?

I don't like the quick release on my Nepros because you have to push Real deep and the edge around it feels uncomfortable! It doesn't work as good as on other ratchets.

Been doing this for years on lots of cars. Once new pads are fitted i just plug everything back in, pump the brakes a few times and operate the parking brake again. No error codes have ever come up for me..

I have this exact same issue with my tundra door doesn't close good and it keeps dying on me if I let it sit also crew cab almost the same exact just a different color

I recently ran into this same problem with the small rubber fitting but instead of replacing it with Tee fittings shown in the video I chose another remedy. Originally I was going to use RTV gasket sealer and recoat that fitting to reinforce it and make it stronger but didn't have any on hand so instead I chose to use some epoxy I have that was really thick with the viscosity of like wheel bearing grease. I mixed it up and then use a small paint brush to paint it around the fitting. I also glued the fitting to the canister. Overall this repair worked quite well for me. I cleaned the fitting with soap and water prior to the recoating so I had good adhesion. Just thought I would share my idea so others can chose which direction they want to fix this problem. This video was helpful.

Those little rotor screws - I have learned to loosen those when rotating tires even if I am not doing a brake job. The sooner in the life of the car the better. When tightening, do NOT torque them down. Turn until it stops.

All you have to do is push down on the wiper arm a short distance from where it bolts on while you pull up around the bolt.
